Harrisburg Park Splash Pad Reservations 2023

By Town of Harrisburg, NC (other events)

259 Dates Through Sep 03, 2023

ABOUT ABOUT

The Town of Harrisburg is excited to have a community Splash Pad located inside Harrisburg Park!

Every person that enters the gate to the Splash Pad will need a ticket (12 months and older). This includes all adults that enter the splash pad with their children/group. Tickets are available for pre-registration through this Ticketleap site and for "walk-ups" at the spalsh pad window until capacity is met.

NOTE: Individuals may register for up to nine tickets per wave through Ticketleap. Any pre-registrations submitted for more than nine tickets per wave are subject to cancellation or a $3 per person fee regardless of residency/taxpayer status. This policy is necessary to manage the number of people on the splash pad during each wave and to have contact/supervisor information for large groups. Group ticket requests (10-30 max.) are available for specific dates and waves and are managed by the Harrisburg Parks & Recreation department. See website for details.

How will the staff know the difference between Taxpayer vs. Non-Taxpayer addresses? You must present/enter your address to Ticketleap when you are pre-registering for tickets and/or when you are registering onsite for entry to the Splash Pad. If you do not know if you pay the Harrisburg City Tax, you can search using the county GIS system online - look for "Jurisdiction: Harrisburg" at the bottom of the detail page for your address. Splash pad staff will have a printed list of Harrisburg Taxpaying residences onsite at the consessions window. FAQ:

Where do I go once I am at the Harrisburg Park Splash Pad? Go to the Splash Pad concessions stand window. If you have pre-registered, you will present your tickets, printed copy OR on your phone. If you did not pre-register, go to the window to be ticketed as one of the walk-up spots - available until capacity is met. Walk-up ticketing will begin approximately 10-15 minutes prior to the start of each wave. ALL walk-up spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is met (entrants must be present for ticketing). Please be prepared to verify/present address information upon staff request.

> What if I arrive late? If you do not cancel or arrive within 15 minutes of the beginning of your pre-registration time slot "wave", your tickets will be released.

> Will there be staff to monitor participants on the Splash Pad? The splash pad deck area is not monitored by lifeguards or staff. Parents/Guradians are required to supervise their children and their usage of the splash pad at all times in order to look out for the safety of all children. Parents may need to assist their child on the slide, as we have found this can be a busier feature. Please instruct children to wait for their turn without crowding the top. Thank you for your help and cooperation!

> When is the Splash Pad Open? The splash pad will be open 7 days a week, excluding blackout dates/times, through the summer and will tentatively close in early August. There are four different 2-hour "Waves". There is no Wave 1 on Sundays. See full schedule and exclusions on website.

Wave 1: 10AM - Noon (Monday through Saturday only)

Wave 2: 12:30PM - 2:30PM

Wave 3: 3PM - 5PM

Wave 4: 5:30PM - 7:30PM

> How do I pre-register for tickets? Pre-Registration is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to secure entry! You can pre-register through Ticketleap. Our Town of Harrisburg Page is linked HERE! If you are unable/do not plan to use your pre-registered time slot tickets, please cancel to allow space for others. Email the Parks & Recreation office at [email protected] with the number of tickets to be released and the name, date, and time of tickets.

> What is the max capacity? Max capacity per wave time slot is 100 people (adults and children). ALL walk-up spaces are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.

> Is the Splash Pad a party facility? Can it be rented out/reserved for parties? No, the splash pad is not intended to be a party facility and cannot be decorated for birthdays or other celebrations. Entry tickets do not gurarantee tables or allow for party set-ups. Please consider renting one of the picnic shelters if you would like to decorate for a birthday party and/or have guranteed table seating for serving food such as pizza and cake.

> How are groups of 10 or more people handled? A limited number of specific "waves" will be available for group ticket requests and must be coordinated through the Parks and Recreation office at least one week prior to requested date. Please visit https://www.harrisburgnc.org/681/Harrisburg-Park-Splash-Pad for more information about group ticket requests.
